About

REAL AND MEANINGFUL
Moments, people. Moments, moments, moments. The first time a father sees his daughter in her perfect wedding dress and later walks her down the aisle, the first look, the first kiss, the smiles and the tears. It’s moments like these that stand the test of time, that we are utterly committed to and we are all about. And yes, of course we’ll photograph the details throughout the day between those moments.

FRIENDLY AND FOCUSSED
Does our particular approach mean we walk around like shadows and never utter a word? Quite the opposite! Yes, we are very focused indeed and work very hard, but we also like to party hard. From the first moment of the wedding preparations right until the last dance we’ll enjoy the day just as much as you will. Trust us about that. We’ll smile, mingle and socialize. In fact: when we leave, we want everyone to think that two friends left instead of two photographers.

THERE IS NO I IN TEAM
We fully understand that, despite the tongue-in-cheek referral, picking Best Men Weddings as our name is a pretty bold statement. But we mean it. Best Men is not one photographer with one assistant, but two fully dedicated wedding photographers who have done the hard yards and will continue to do so. Wedding photographers with awards and honorable mentions to their name, respected by their colleagues and being regarded amongst the most talented wedding photographers in the Netherlands. We are wedding photographers who are in this together, we know each other inside out and we play to each other’s strengths. Picking Best Men really is picking the best men for the job.

Together, we have been privileged to photograph hundreds of weddings in the most beautiful locations of The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy and the Caribbean. We regularly sign-up for workshops from the world’s best photographers to hone our skills and make sure that we keep evolving and improving.

THE BEST MEN OF BEST MEN
LEONARD
Looks like 40, but actually is 30. Skill-wise, that is. Married to Janneke, and father of two boys; Floris and Julius. Creative perfectionist. Italy. Cycling. Worked for an ngo before he became a photographer. He is the more intellectual of the two. Haha.

JESSE
39, married to Annabelle and father of two girls, Rive and Isée. The louder of the two. Loves good company, good (red) wine, English football and cricket. Weirdo.
